Zineryt solution is a topical acne treatment containing the antibiotic erythromycin. Zineryt is usually applied twice a day to the area affected by acne, usually for 10 to 12 weeks.
Zineryt works by reducing the level of skin bacteria associated with acne.
How to use Zineryt
Apply twice a day using the applicator pad attached to the bottle, avoid eyes, mouth and nose. Apply finely, rinsing off any excess or any solution in contact with eyes or mucous membranes.
It may take a few weeks of Use and up to 8 weeks, for best results. If there is no improvement after 8 weeks or worsens before, stop Zineryt and consult a doctor.
If acne has subsided after 10 to 12 weeks, stop treatment and restart later if necessary if acne returns.
Zineryt side effects and warnings
Zineryt is usually well tolerated. In rare cases it can cause inflammation of the skin. Sensitivity reaction, although very rare, is possible. If the skin becomes inflamed and swollen, immediately stop treatment and consult a doctor.
Zineryt can be used by pregnant and lactating women. Women who are breastfeeding should not apply Zineryt to the chest area.
It does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
